EQUIPMENT DEPLOYMENT DRILL (EDD)

The equipment deployment drill (EDD) is scheduled for Tuesday morning, October 21st. The exercise will be held on Cherry Creek, just upstream from the confluence with the Arkansas River (refer to map below), in Tulsa. GPS coordinates are TBD.

The exercise will feature installation of the WaterGate instant underflow dam, along with the deployment of several hundred feet of hard boom and drum skimmer. The deployment will be preceded by a “tailgate” safety briefing. The company-owned mobile command vehicle (MCV) will be mobilized for the exercise.
